FAQs

  • While I hold the belief that certifications don't define the entirety of one's abilities, and I place great value on skills, compassion, discernment, and embodying the principles of service, I am a perpetual learner. I find immense joy in ongoing education.

    This commitment to continuous learning empowers me to offer support to families in the most authentic and tailored manner, unrestricted by the limitations of certifications.

    As a perpetual student, below is a compilation of the trainings I've undertaken.

    • 2014 - National Child Passenger Safety Technician

    • 2016 - ICEA Certified Doula

    • 2017 - IPPA Trained Placenta Encapsulator

    • 2017 - Bloodborne Pathogens & Infection Control for Placenta Encapsulators

    • 2022 - Embrace :: A Sisterly Guide to Having Babies Bravely

    • 2023 - Indie Birth Doula Academy

    • 2023 - Stillbirthday Certified Bereavement Doula

    • 2024 - Birthworker Academy Childbirth Educator

    Beyond my formal trainings, I am consistently immersed in the world of childbirth, delving into birth-related literature, tuning into insightful podcasts, actively assisting families in various roles, and engaging with the vibrant birthworker community. I humbly position myself as a learner, seeking wisdom from those with more experience and knowledge.

  • I stand with you, sister! I won't forsake your care, even if circumstances necessitate involvement with the medical system for your well-being or your baby's. My aim is to be a reassuring constant, offering a sense of safety, calm, and sisterhood in these situations.

  • In the event that I'm unable to attend your birth due to a swift delivery, I'll redirect your investment towards additional postpartum support.

  • No, I do not. As a Holistic Doula & Birthkeeper, I want to clarify that I am not a medical professional and do not offer medical services. I firmly believe that accepting insurance would perpetuate the flaws within the maternity care system, and it's not something I plan to do.

  • Absolutely! I gladly accommodate and support payment plans for all my birth clients. I work closely with each client to establish a payment schedule that aligns with their specific requirements.

  • Radical responsibility entails willingly embracing complete ownership of every situation you encounter. This isn't about obligation or burden, but rather a deliberate act of self-empowerment and the genuine exercise of personal freedom.
